We couldn’t have done it without you
It’s quite a few days later now so hopefully everyone has fully recovered from the joyful imbibing of drinks at the Festival of Winter Ales. It was a great weekend and nearly all sessions were sold out. Four hundred pies were eaten, 2020 drinks were enjoyed, songs were sung, funds were raised. We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for coming and for making the atmosphere sparkle with good vibes.
If you want to read an excellent account of how the night went down, you can find one on the Devizine blog – a great place to keep up to date about happenings in and around Devizes.
We couldn’t do it without you and we also couldn’t do it without our ale sponsors. These are local businesses who make a donation to DOCA so that they can be featured on one of our barrels. We’re proud of our connections to local business and chuffed that they want to support the community and our events in return
This year our sponsors were:

Big thanks to Brian at The Vaults for refrigeration and a raffle prize, Malcolm and Andy at Stealth Brew Co for everything, Ian at Light & Sound for the loan of a great P.A. Paul from Meadow in my Garden for brightening up the foyer, Pieminster for supplying the pies and all the artists involved. Of course, we also couldn’t do it without our festival makers so thanks to all of you as well.
Coming up next – our tree planting event. Claim one of our trees, dedicate it to a loved one and come along to plant it on 21st March – just in time for Mother’s Day. Further details here.
