Aimée Holmes – Volunteer Coordinator

Aimée has had a varied career in the arts to date. Her love of which started when she was given her first pair of ballet shoes as a bridesmaid, putting on ‘shows’ for her long-suffering parents in the living room… she has been putting on shows ever since! Not to be swayed from her passion Aimée attended Rose Bruford College graduating with a degree in European Theatre Arts, it was here her love of puppetry and outdoor arts began to flourish.  Since graduating Aimée has been privileged to work with some incredible companies including but not limited to Kinetika International Arts, Smoking Apples Theatre, Hoodwink Theatre, Kilter Theatre, Natural Theatre Company, as well as creating her own work for the outdoors with other circus and art folk. Additional to performance work, Aimée has worked in costume design and making, directing, community outreach and delivery, education, and project management. Aimée recently returned from 3 years ambling Australia and New Zealand, through which she gained many rich work experiences, including managing and coordinating the Brisbane Greeters, a large volunteer-led project providing guided walking tours throughout the city of Brisbane, Australia.
