About Pirate Taxi & Pirates of the Carabina Pirate Taxi joined us for a sunny Saturday in May at The Mind Tree Cafe in Rowde bringing their London cab and hilarious and wonderful artistry. Taking place in, on and around an old-school London Taxi, PIRATE TAXI is performed by a cast of two and is suitable for all ages. It has all the hallmarks of a Pirates of the Carabina (POTC) show – original live music, humour, a mechanically ingenious set, and extraordinary aerial performance. Out & About

Out & About Out & About is a project that takes free pop-up performances to communities outside the town centre of Devizes. We work with organisations that have strong connections with the people who live around them and are keen to meet new venues that wish to host performances. We take shows to places where people have less access to culture. We aim to work with young audiences, those with disabilities, and those who are isolated or have poor transport links. Jocelyn Benyon-Tucker – Trustee

Jocelyn has lived in Devizes all of her life. She took work experience at DOCA in the summer of 2024 and loved the experience. Since then she has helped out where she can volunteering while pursuing her interest of acting on the side. She has been in the Wharf theatre’s panto and multiple musicals.

About Festival Makers DOCA events could not happen without the support and hard work of our wonderful team of volunteer Festival Makers. So who are they? What do they do? And could you join them? DOCA Festival Makers are local people from all walks of life, with varied skills and personalities. Some like to help out at many of our events, and some only join us for one per year.
