Devizes International Street Festival

The Devizes International Street Festival sees a fantastic programme welcoming some of the best street performers, contemporary circus acts, dancers, musicians and walkabout shows from Europe and the UK  to Devizes. Come along and join our audience to be amazed, surprised and entertained over the August Bank Holiday

Street Festival on the Green

Come along to the Devizes Green and relax with a picnic or pick up some fantastic quality offerings from our food market.  Look out for our refreshment stall serving freshly prepared, cooling Pimms, or try a locally brewed ale at our Stealth Brewery bar.  Kick off your shoes and enjoy some of the best outdoor artists.

Throughout the day expect an array of top notch street style entertainment, love our live music on our small music stage and jump on our Festival Fair which you’ll find on the Small Green

The Green has accessible toilets and there is on street parking available nearby. Information on local parking can be found here

Street Festival in the Market Place

A fantastically energetic event, which sees the Market Place bustling with people and International acts.

Monday brings even more artists and even more fun. See the streets come alive like you’ve never seen it before.

The format is constantly changing, but you can always expect high quality art, music, and a wonderful time

We have a fantastic market where you can find an array of delicious food and drinks, licensed bars, and crafts available from Festival Stalls. Why not stop by the DOCA Pimms stall? Try the famous Black Rat Cider or a Real Ale from the Stealth Brewery.

Road Closures: 

These events will cause some disruption to local roads and routes through town.

Devizes International Street Festival, Monday 26th August 2019, 06:30-19:30
Market Place, Northgate Street, from Brewery Corner to Market Place, Station Road from Market Place to the Corn Exchange, Wine Street, High Street, St John’s Street from the Market Place to the Town Hall.

All buses will be re-routed out of the Market Place to outside the Police Station. Castle Lane and Castle Road will remain open for access. If you need to access these roads, please contact one of our volunteers manning the road closure. They will arrange for someone to come and guide you through

Through Traffic will be diverted away from the Market Place via Southbroom Road and New Park Street.  Diversion signs in place at Southgate & Northgate.  Access can be made for emergency vehicles if necessary through the Market Place although there will be pedestrians in the road. All retail outlets in the Market Place should not be adversely affected, many will benefit from increased trade.
