Carnival Development

Sacred Carnival Cow Workshops

Workshops for Age 8+

We are excited to be working with Dee Moxon, an experienced Carnival Maker and lantern builder, and Caenhill Countryside Centre for our latest Carnival Development programme.

Dee will be starting a series of workshops at the Centre on the 27th of May to create a life size Sacred Cow for Devizes Carnival.

So why not come and learn some new skills, meet some great people, have a look at the animals and make something fantastic for Devizes Carnival, embracing the celebration of the 70th anniversary of India’s Independence and, of course, the animals at Caenhill including Widget the cow.

Workshops will be held on: 27th May, 10th June and 24th June - Time 10.30am - 12.30pm & 1pm- 3pm at Caenhill Countryside Centre in their great new craft space.

Donations are appreciated – please support this great project if you can. You can donate to DOCA and it's work via our Donations page
