Trevor Babajack Steger:

Founder member and co-song writer of the Multi-award winning band ‘Babajack’ brought Steger to the forefront of the British Blues scene where he has been nominated numerous times for Best Harmonica Player along with Best Album and Song in the British Blues Awards. Trevor now steps out on his own to perform his own brand of Blues, drawing from his love of early rural blues, punk and world music.  Using slide guitar, harp and stomp box to create his unique sound which is both exciting and real.
Time: 12:00 – 13:00

Mozzle Brocha
Mozzle Brocha plays jazz-tinged klezmer, Old World Yiddish folk and New World Yiddish theatre songs, on a magnificent musical journey from the haunted Central- and Eastern European shtetls, through the dimly-lit basement bars of tango-crazed Buenos Aires, to the vibrant neighbourhoods of swinging New York. Impassioned female vocals lead the party, against a joyous backing of violin, trumpet, guitar and percussion.
Time: 13:20 – 14:20

East of Eden
Rich compelling melodies and tight, driving rhythm, East of Eden take tunes and songs from eastern European folk traditions and present them in a lively and accessible form.  Thier distinctive melodies played on saxophone/flute and laud/mandolin are woven with classically rooted violin harmonies and underpinned by an energetic rhythm section of guitar, bass and djembe.
Time: 14:40 – 15: 40

Otto & The Mutapa Calling

This band play music that is full of energy and pulsating rhythms. The music shares the rich cultures, histories and stories of the people of southern Africa. Let these London based marimba players bring their joyful music from Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe, including folk songs, original songs and popular covers from the southern part of Africa to brighten your weekend.

Time: 16:00 – 17:00
