By Train

The closest train station to Devizes is Melksham (8 miles away). Other major stations can be found within 10-20 miles (16-32 km) of Devizes: Bath Spa, Chippenham, Salisbury, Swindon and Trowbridge. Most stations have nearby access to buses that pass through Devizes, or alternatively, there are a number of local taxi companies you can try.

By Bus

Buses are available regularly from surrounding towns – the main service providers include Faresaver, First Bus and Stagecoach. Please see their website for up-to-date timetables.

By Coach

A coach service runs through Devizes straight from London Victoria. Please check the National Express website for times and prices.

By Car

Devizes is served by several main roads, including the A360, A362 and A342. It is approximately 15 miles (24 km) from the M4 – about 1 hour from Bristol, and 2 hours from London.

Alternative Transport

Fancy taking a more leisurely or picturesque route to the festival? Devizes stands on the Kennet and Avon Canal, so is easily reached if you are traveling by houseboat. Devizes is also accessible on National Cycle Route 4 for those that want to take in the Wiltshire countryside.
