Winter Festival Market Stalls
27th, 28th & 29th November 2020
Sadly current circumstances prevent us from having our usual Lantern Parade instead we will be hosting a Winter Festival. The focus will move away from lanterns and towards markets stalls and an installation trail funding permitting. Look out for opportunities to participate in announcements will be made soon. We will be ensuring audiences and shoppers safe and following Coronavirus safety measures. To give audiences and shoppers more time and space to browse stalls and pick up some special Christmas gifts and enjoy delicious food we have extend the event to span over the whole weekend Friday 27th – Sunday 29th .
Please note that the following information relates to 2020. 2021 information TBC
For 2020 stalls are available both outdoors in the Market Square and indoors at the Corn Exchange, The Shambles and The Town Hall. In the Town Hall we will see the return of the Makery Market which will host the best selection of local arts and crafts and beautiful bespoke items. Our updated trading and set up times are listed below. If you are unable to fill a stall for the full duration of the market please still get in touch and we will be glad to welcome you for a shorter stint!
If you are interested in booking a stall at the Devizes Winter Festival complete our initial enquiry form found at the bottom of this information.
Each year we run our own mulled wine stall, which raises much needed funds for DOCA. We also work with our sponsor The Vaults, who provide a Christmas bar, so will not be seeking new vendors looking to run their own bars unless their offer is significantly different.
All enquiries to trade at any of the markets over this weekend must be made directly to DOCA.
DOCA is looking to phase single use plastics out of all of their events. We will look more favourably on traders who share this ethos and use alternatives such as wooden cutlery or vegware, cans over plastic bottles and are actively more environmentally friendly about their packaging. This form part of our selection process.
