Patrizia Ribul – Event Support Lead

Patrizia Ribul is a senior arts and museum leader with over 15 years’ experience directing museums, galleries, and cultural organisations. She specialises in leadership, governance, and strategic planning, with a strong record in operational transformation, fundraising, and community engagement.  Patrizia has led award-winning museums, delivered major capital projects, and secured national funding. She holds degrees in arts administration and law, and her strengths include delivering impactful, sustainable cultural initiatives.

Colour Rush

Saturday 26th September 2026 Start points: Green Lane Playing Fields & Hillworth Park (Wheelie Rush) The Colour Rush is back! Come along, have a great time, and get pelted with paint – we expect everyone to look like a rainbow by the end of the 5km route around Devizes! Walk, jog or run in this family-friendly event promoting outdoor activity and community spirit. All entry fees will help DOCA continue producing high-quality and fun events in future years. Devizes Confetti Battle will also be taking place on Saturday 26th September, so expect lots of colour all around! The Colour Rush

Loz Samuels – Creative Producer

Loz is pleased to return to DOCA after a two-year break to complete a Masters in Contemporary Crafts at Hereford College of Arts. She was Artistic Director at DOCA between 2016 and 2022, introducing the Colour Rush, Window Wanderland, the Shambles installations and more to the programme, she is now excited to focus purely on the creative programme in a part-time role that will allow her to continue her creative practice and involvement with other nationwide arts projects. Confetti Battle

Saturday 26th September 2026 Market Place, Devizes Following the Colour Rush fun run earlier in the day, the Confetti Battle kicks off in the Market Place, followed by fireworks. Don’t forget Jennings funfair will also be in town. You can purchase confetti on the night from from a stall close to the Condado Lounge in the Market Place. Confetti bags will be available to buy from 7:15pm. Please DO NOT throw any confetti until the cannon goes off at 8:15pm – thank you! As far as we know, Devizes is the only town in the world that has a Confetti
