At this years Carnival…
As this year is DOCA’s 20th anniversary, we are having a ‘Through the Ages’ themed Carnival – pick a time in history and get creative! The Carnival will this year be lead by a Woolly Mammoth – a spectacular and huge puppet created which will see two giant puppets escorted by lots of local participants in great costumes. Follow this page and our Facebook event for updates on who will be at this years Carnival.
Judge: Victoria from Pin’s and Needles
Vicotoria runs the award-winning shop in the historic Wharfside area of Devizes, specialising in gorgeous yarn for knitting and crochet. Pin’s and Needles have an amazing range of haberdashery and needlework supplies and host workshops for knitting and crochet.
Judge: Nancy Rose
Nancy Rose is a hat maker, she makes beautiful hand made hats for all occasions. Nancy Rose Hats is based in store at Sumptuous designerwear’ 68 Walcot Street,Bath.
Judge: Beth from Beeze’s
Beeze’s is a handmade gift shop situated in the idyllic Ginnel, Devizes. They sell the work of over 90 artists, crafters and designers, many of which are based in Wiltshire!
Jennings Fair will be in town – expect lots of rides and amusements to entertain the kids!
The Carnival Fair will operate on the 12th from 6pm until 9pm, 13th from 1pm until 9pm and on Sunday 14th from 2pm until 6pm on both the Little Green and the Market Place

It’s A Starz Dance first year entering the carnival! Their interpretation of the ‘Through the Ages’ theme will incorporate all the best dance styles….rock and roll, popping and locking, the shuffle & the floss!
